Trackon Courier took many initiatives to propagate the CSR. The idea of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is really important today. Businesses now understand that the government alone can’t solve all social problems. So, they are doing more to help society, seeing it as their duty. The government knows this, too, and has made laws that require businesses to do certain things for CSR. Companies are using CSR as a way to grow in a good way, mixing their business with social needs.

Trackon Courier Philosophy

Trackon Couriers started in 2002 in New Delhi. Our company believes in helping communities that need it. We focus on making lives better by working on livelihood, healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

Objective

Trackon Courier CSR policy is to follow the guidelines and help the society where we work. This is in line with the Companies Act of 2013. We want to support the government’s efforts to improve society, considering both the short and long-term effects of our actions.

Scope

We plan to work in these areas:

· Fighting hunger, poverty, and malnutrition; improving healthcare, sanitation, and education.

· Supporting gender equality, setting up homes for women, orphans, and older adults.

· Helping reduce inequality for socially and economically backward groups.

· Protecting the environment, wildlife, and natural resources.

· Preserving national heritage and promoting traditional arts.

· Helping armed forces veterans, war widows, and their families.

· Supporting sports and contributing to relief funds for social and economic development.

· Working on rural development.

Trackon won’t include normal business activities, things that only help our employees, political contributions, or activities outside India.

CSR Committee

Based on the Companies Act of 2013, Trackon Couriers set up a CSR Committee on February 18, 2015. The members are:

1. Mr. Prabhat Kumar Anand as Chairman

2. Mr. Dinesh Kumar Rautela

3. Mr. Yoginder Kumar Dabas

4. Mr. Pramod Kumar Nourangi Singh

Mr. Prabhat Kumar Anand leads the Committee, but Mr. Dinesh Kumar Rautela takes over if he’s not there.

Meetings

The Committee meets at least four times a year, never waiting more than 120 days between meetings.

Meeting Rules

A meeting needs at least two members present. If not enough members are there within 15 minutes, the meeting is moved to the same time next week.

Committee Responsibilities

  • · Suggest CSR activities and budget.
  • · Check how much of the CSR budget is spent.
  • · Make sure CSR activities are clear and well-managed.
  • · Report to the Board about CSR activities.
  • · Keep an eye on the CSR policy.
  • · Let company executives join the CSR meetings.

CSR Spending

According to the Companies Act of 2013, companies that meet certain criteria must use a part of their profits from the past three years for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activities. This is detailed in Schedule VII of the Act.

The CSR Committee will suggest how much to spend on these activities, and the Board of Directors must approve it. If the company doesn’t spend as much as planned, the Committee needs to ask the Board why and record the reasons.

Baseline Survey & Documentation

For CSR projects that involve community development, it’s important to do a baseline survey to understand the benefits and costs. This helps decide if the project is worth doing.

For projects that build infrastructure, like schools, and have a social benefit, a baseline survey isn’t needed. But we still need to explain why the project is worth the cost. We should keep detailed records of our CSR strategies, policies, programs, and spending and share them publicly, especially online.

Reviewing CSR Activities

Every year, the company’s auditor will review all CSR activities. This review is part of the bigger company audit. Our Annual Report will include details about our CSR policy, the Committee, our CSR projects, how much we spent, and any other information required by law.

Publishing the CSR Policy

The CSR policy will be part of the Directors’ Report and will also be available on our website, as the CSR Rules say.

Policy Review and Changes

The Committee will check and update the CSR policy every year. The Board must approve any changes. This policy has been in effect since April 1, 2018.
